Reliance Jio is all set to mow down DTH and Broadband market with 1Gbps internet. In the upcoming days, Jio will bring broadband services up to 1 Gbps over the wired network. The basic plan of Reliance Jio Broadband may cost INR 500 only.

Jio will soon launch the broadband services for both – Home and Business. The speed test for wired broadband has already begun and is in its beta phase across selected areas of the country.
Like the Jio 4G, the company might give the welcome offer to users… so they can experience the real power of Jio Broadband.
Jio Giga Fiber Broadband Plans
The broadband plans of Jio are distributed into 3 categories. Have a look at Jio broadband plans below:
SPEED BASED MONTHLY PLANS
In this category, you can get the minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps and max bandwidth of 600 Mbps. The plans will cost from INR 1500 to INR 5500 with 30 days validity.
VOLUME BASED MONTHLY PLANS
In this category, you can get 5GB/day to 60GB/day (unlimited speed) with 30 days validity. The basic plan will cost INR 1,000. For premium plans, you have to pay up to INR 5000.
SPECIAL BROADBAND MONTHLY PLANS
In this category, the plans vary from INR 500 to INR 1,000. In just INR 500, you can get 15 Mbps broadband connection with 600GB data limit for 30 days validity.

Jio Android Based TV Box + Wi-Fi Router
Some reports also suggested that – with Jio Broadband connection, the consumer may get an Android based TV-box, which will also work as a Wi-Fi router.
It is also rumored that the router-cum-android-TV-box will connect 44 devices at one time. The TV-box will have the Jio TV service in which you can see up to 350 channels and 50 HD channels.
The service can also save TV content for 1 week, all the storage will be done on Jio server.
