At an event in China on November 15, 2016, Gionee launched a dual rear camera smartphone named Gionne S9. It is an upgraded version of S8, runs Android-based Amigo 3.2 operating system. It is loaded with a powerful processor, RAM, and battery.

Gionne S9 Specifications
Gionee S9 is powered by Helio P10 MediaTek Octa-Core processor, coupled with Mali T860 GPU handset. It sports a 5.5-inch screen with 2.5D curved glass supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
There is 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. You can expand the storage up to 128GB using micro SD card support.
This handset houses dual cameras on the back – a 13MP and a 5MP with dual tone LED flash support. Both cameras use sensors from Sony and Samsung respectively.
On the front, there is a single camera of 13MP resolution. It comes with self-timer and seven beauty effects to enhance selfies.
Gionee S9 smartphone is running Amigo OS 3.2 based on Android marshmallow 6.0 and gets the power from 3000 mAh battery.
The weight of this handset with battery is 168 grams and thickness is just 7.4mm.

Gionee S9 Price
It is available in three color options – Black, Gold, and Rose. The price of this smart handset in China is RMB 2499. There is no word when this handset will be launched in India.
