In Beijing, at an event named ‘Curved to Impress’ – Xiaomi launches MI Note 2 flagship smartphone. It has a 5.7 inch big flexible OLED display and 6GB RAM. It comes with both front and back 3D curved glass, which gives the Mi Note 2 a dual-edge curved display like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
This handset will be available in three variants including a global variant. Check out below:

Xiaomi MI Note 2 Specifications
The Mi Note 2 smartphone features a 5.7-inch dual-edge flexible OLED display, screen to bezel ratio of 77.2% and contrast ratio of 100,000:1. The display has QHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels), covered with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.35GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB of RAM + 128GB internal storage.
The smartphone features a 22.5MP high-resolution rear camera (Sony IMX 318 Exmor R sensor) with electronic image stabilization (not OIS), phase detection auto-focus and LED flash. The EIS works similar to what we’ve seen in the Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL cameras. There is also an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with auto-focus functionality.
This handset is armed with a 4,070mAh battery and support for Quick Charge 3.0. The connectivity options include – Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and SAP GPS for precision and accuracy.
In terms of 4G LTE band, the Mi Note 2 phone supports 6 types and 37 bands for global roaming. Now, you’ll be able to use it in the US. There is also support for 4G+ that can reach maximum speeds of 600Mbps.

In addition to that, Xiaomi has also added the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the front, which uses Qualcomm’s Sense ID feature to read your fingerprints. It is the same as we have previously seen in the Mi 5s cell phone. The smartphone also includes support for Aqstic audio processor, with 192kHz/24-bit Hi-Fi sound quality.
Xiaomi MI Note 2 Price
As expected, the Mi Note 2 has everything you’d imagine from a high-end phone. It comes in Piano Black and Glacier Silver options.
The 4GB and 6GB RAM models will cost INR 27,999 and INR 32,999 respectively. While, the global version will cost INR 35,000 approximately!
